it's a mature read for a reason guys, for people that can actually understand that this is a story of a beautifully evil and corrupted romance. not every plot has to be a wholesome cheesy rom com (even though i love those) to be a good story.
this manga has in no way imply or romanticize itself as a healthy relationship. the toxic nature is seething from this story on purpose lol

I’m a young reader and I legit also have to argue with stupid reasons with younger people or same age as well and it’s so frustrating.

Sometimes, I feel like the people giving negative comments about the storyline and how a character should fit their own 'standard' are from a younger generation of readers. I remember people used to just leave nice comments to authors, especially here because we had the privilege to read it here for free. Sharing thoughts regarding how complex the characters are and how the plot works in a beautifully f****d up way was how I fell in love with BL stories more compared to het romance stories. But now, people think that only their opinion about the storyline and shit ALWAYS matters. Like yeah, I understand the yakuza was an asshole but damn projecting your standards on a fictional drawn character is just not it. I want to be able to love characters in a f****d up story without people having to go after my neck for liking them. Being able to determine between real life and fiction is important for new readers especially in this generation. Seperating your own feelings from what you are reading is a skill that you must learn. Just stop reading if you feel uncomfortable, no need to share your nasty comments about the manga cuz the author worked hard for it.
