i get what you mean! but unlike aria, she didn't have a bad reputation before angela arrived at the mansion, and just like mielle she wants to kick out the stranger in her house. that's really what her character boils down to. but i can say i like the way mielle is executed better since in her story they show how the adults in her life failed her.
mielle hated aria and her mum for existing and tried to sabotage and killed her in the first life.... jayna was SO nice to angela, now she's just giving angela what she deserves
It isn't because she is the protagonist. It is because in her first life she was super welcoming. She did so much to make Angela feel like a real sister and friend but Angela betrayed her anyway. Beyond that Angela said during that first life that she always hated Jayna. Now in Jayna's second life she is making sure that Angela can't betray her.
The motive for her behavior is different than Mielles and that's why we like her.
She's not "kicking out the stranger in her house" tho. Before she died, she was really nice to angela and treated her like a sister, but now that she knows that angela is such a two-faced son of a biatch, she's "kicking her out". Mielle just wanted Aria out just because she think she's annoying while our MC here wants angela out 'cause that's what she freaking deserves!! Ergo, Mielle and MC are VASTLY different.
i just realized this chick acts exactly like miellle in the villainess reverses the hourglass but since she is the protagonist we don't hate her.
