I understand that, but you’d also think he’d give her the benefit of the doubt BECAUSE he’s know her his whole life and at least let her prove her innocence before condemning her without much of a second thought. Wouldn’t you be hurt if everyone you knew your whole life suddenly turned their backs on you for someone they only met recently?? Although I do see where you’re coming from and how just because you know someone your whole life doesn’t mean you truly know them.
no since I was thought that if somebody hurts me once that I have to cut them off unless they show real change. but I can guess that he wouldn't give her a second chance since they are nobles and he is the heir of the dukedom and a knight which just makes it less likely for him to trust her again. and she technically isn't the heir to anything so she probably wasn't thought to cut off the people who are no longer trustworthy to the extend he was, so i can understand why it hurt her so much.
