North’s mother is a disgusting disgrace of a parent. I have no doubt in my mind that she would have been fine with his being raped and would be more than willing to “pass him around” to any rich guy that wanted him for a night or two, if it meant she got to stay in the upper class crowd!
No wonder he pretended to forget who East was. It probably reminded him too much of this! After all, if they hadn’t pretended to be boyfriends to get the girls off their backs (at least that is the story in the description of this plot), his mom wouldn’t have brought that guy there to introduce him and he wouldn’t have been attacked. The question becomes, was he merely trying to forget his trauma, or was the fake dating East’s idea and therefore North blames East for the attack on some level. I hope he doesn’t blame East. Because I am sure East never wanted North hurt.
And Kudos to Nathean for saving his younger brother and getting him out of there. He has a great right hook!
