To be honest I don't really care about cliché as long as it is a good execution, bnha has lots of cliches but I love the way the story has been told.
There are thousands and thousands of stories being told, it is no surprise when things doesn't surprise us as easily as when we were younger.
An example would be Dabi's reveal, I think most of the fandom was expecting it, it was mostly a matter of the WHEN, but I still absolutely loved chapter 290 Dabi's Dance, you could see just how broken he became and even more in the next chapters.
I know there's the theory of All For One being Deku's dad going around, and I just wanted to say that it's actually a pretty realistic theory. For one, it would add to the duality between Shigaraki and Deku: Shigaraki, from a hero family, becoming a villain, and Deku, from a villain family, becoming a hero. Can y'all imagine the internal dilemma Deku would be facing if he were to end up being the son of a villain? Moreover, the blood relation would explain why Deku can do what All Might couldn't - forming connections with the past users of OFA. Him being directly related to the original user of OFA and AFA would allow him to do things that All Might (and the past users) couldn't do. I'm hoping this theory ends up being true only so it would explain Deku's multi quirk ability (because the whole 'power boiling over' reason seems far too convenient for this manga).
