Although I understand your irritation.. Ive said this plenty of times with different genres and stories. Rape, gore, incest, cheating or even sycho bf etc (all that dark stuff basically), are not for everyone. If you cant stand it you should leave it. Not all yaoi has to go according to your taste nor mine. No matter how much I cant stand story like this, everyone has their own taste and we shouldnt bring cancel culture to a fictional story.

Weird, i was just ranting and not cancel culture-ing it. I didn't shame anyone for reading this nor was i expressing it. I was just expressing my dislikes towards mental triggers that the ML exhibits. Readers are allowed to critique isn't it ? And critisizing a story for their developing plot and character is normal, not all of it is meant to cancel. Especially what i wrote, in my opinion.

True and I never said you or the readers are not allowed to critize the work especially if its a constructive critism, its just that sometimes readers get too demanding and sometimes its because of an absurd reason. They started to go with "can we not bring this into a story, can we not normalize this, can we not do this because this will be seen as bad" like just drop it, not every fictional story is trying to promote bad stuff or normalizing something, its just how the plot and story goes. Fictions is fictions and thats it. Not all story has to go according to what we personally want. Its just my opinion though.
