1) I’m 95% positive that Tara and Judas are not related at all. If I’m understanding Judas right, his father and Adilade’s mother were married for a short period. However both Adilade and Judas were not born of this union (I’m taking that from his statement about Adilade already being how she is when he met her). So from that, I would say that the term “step-uncle” would be more accurate; in terms of applying family ties.
2) The whole “scent/smell” thing is as Judas stated, Tara’s magic’s last ditch effort to protect her; by creating a “smell/feeling” of the need to protect Tara. All human infants have this, as it’s what creates the bond between baby and parent. Much like when a baby duck imprints on its mother. One could ask why this doesn’t always work then? And my theory is that parents who do not spend time with the infants from the get-go (i.e. thrust the child onto someone else post birth) are not affected by the smell, and so are able to keep their distance. In Tara’s case, I would say that her mana is recreating this effect, and is heightened by Tara’s innate desire to imprint on Judas.
3) Currently I view Tara and Judas’ relationship as more of a father-daughter/uncle-niece, platonic relationship. Granted the description did say that things could grow beyond that... and honestly, I would actually prefer it stay a more platonic relationship. Not because I don’t want there to be romance in the story (I really do), or because of the age gap (in my opinion, once someone is proclaimed immortal, the age difference becomes pretty much irrelevant). But because I feel like it would be a romance born from the imprint bond, rather than legitimate like or dislike. The issue is that, if the imprint is THAT strong, it makes Tara seem more desperate. In that, because of her trauma and the bond, she comes to believe that ONLY Judas can love her; and that creates another type of unhealthy relationship. So ultimately, I really hope that either the author starts down playing the imprint bond, or more preferably, Judas and Tara’s relationship remains a platonic father-daughter/uncle-niece; and the love interest (not the ML, that’s Judas obviously) is eventually introduced.
Yes that the better outcome and like you said the relationship won't be healthy if she don't become a "strong FL". but with the spoiler I read, it won't be like this so I dropped lol

I think I may keep going for the time being. But I admit that I’m a bit disappointed.
