I do sympathize with his crappy past. But he's emperor. An emperor who is so fucked up that he lets some redheaded 'ho rule him and plot and he still wants to keep her alive.....he's not fit to be emperor.

Everyone in this comment section seems incredibly mature and smart and I'm surprised ngl because in every other comment section I see people excusing and overly sympathizing for a toxic ML because they simp for him and whenever I say stuff about it, I get lots and lots of hate. Glad y'all are understanding and recognizing that despite his childhood and past being shitty that doesn't give him any sort of pass to do anything toxic, abusive, or horrible.
