Nooo he’s trying to atone for what he did, now he wants his family to live happily, even though he mistreated them in the past he said that it wasn’t his intention to shut them out of his life
If Endeavor was introduced to us as a good person -like his personality right now- before showing what he did in the past, no one will think he deserves a bad ending
From a literary standpoint it would be a very amazing redemption if he dies protecting his son who “died” because of his past mistake. It’s not about him being good or bad or how we feel about him. That would just be really good writing and very impactful ESPECIALLY because he’s the number one hero and his son is a villain
