Those who say Maki isn't such a bad guy haven't experience what's it's like to be cheated and wait. If he told him he'll get married and move out, Hayama would understand that and be happy for him. That's what i think. But no, he had to hurt him like hell. Good thing he found love,. Maki better treat his wife good. The lady doesn't have an idea what a scumbag he is.

There's a bit of hypocrisy in the yaoi fandom in this regard. When its a guy cheating on a guy its realistic, part of life, forgivable, *insert handwave here* I suspect that attitude exists because most readers are female and can safely read it without relating. If this happened to a girl virtually no one would defend the cheater.

I agree with you. I just don't like the cheating angle in any genre basically. that and the 'rape equates love' in yaoi. I've read far too many and i'm happy to say that these type of stories are diminishing over time. but then again, i don't blame anyone nor judge anyone who fancies those kinds of stuff. it all boils down to taste. In this story, i stand by what i said though. Maki is a scumbag. he could have ended it differently but choose the harshest breakup ever. let the man wait, send him the happy wedding photo.. he also cheated on his current wife. poor woman. Even if the author tell Maki's POV, it just doesn't appeal to me. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

of course it does. Its just that people get way more offended and what not if I guy rapes a girl but if a guy rapes a guy, it's somehow 'ok'. So yeah, I dont read shoujo either but, sadly, I do come across some comments that make me glad I don't.

Yeah man, I'm a gay man and if my boyfriend cheated on me I'd be broken as fuck. It's a dick thing to do, okay? Even as someone in a poly relationship I'd be fucking upset if my lover slept with someone without telling me yo.
