*sigh* that's victim blaming isis, and it's not like seth openly shared/shareds his emotions. if nephtys tried and failed to help her husband, what makes you think isis - the wife of the rapist - was going to be successful in helping him.
he had to take that first step, but he caved in to his rage/sadness instead (understandably. but his violence is ultimately NOT justified).

i never said it was justified but i still think alot of this could’ve been avoided. if she couldn’t have helped him she atleast shouldn’t have cursed him? that just makes matters worse. plus ik they are gods and they don’t act like humans but he obviously kept him being raped a secret because he didn’t want to be “humiliated” bc thats how the gods thought so how would he be the first to take that step. on top of the whole isis thing his own wife never talked to him about the topics of birth when she knew how isis’ husband felt about seth (i forgot the husbands name sorry) and she still went through with it all. oop sorry just reread what u said at the end so yeah understandable that he felt rage and sadness and it wasn’t justified but i still think alot of things would’ve been different especially if isis didn’t curse him putting more rage/sadness after he literally just got raped which puts it to be that it would only make it HARDER for him to take the first step. also how did nephtys try and help her husband? she only betrayed him by not telling and communicating

you're basically putting seth's murders on isis because she didn't help him in time. it's like blaming your friends for your depression caused by whatever trauma you went through. that's just... a crazy way to think, and in the context of this manhwa, it's not fair to isis in the least.

well no because she actually did have an effect on seth? u just compared two things that don’t make sense. one is someone going through a trauma unrelated to their friends while the other is about how isis could’ve prevented the curse that she caused (bc she did. she placed the curse herself.) which also could’ve probably prevented the terrible things he did. she is correlated to his trauma no matter how u see it she is playing the victim when she did contribute to his trauma. thats just a fact. ignoring that fact is basically saying she did nothing wrong which is false. she did. she could have atleast done nothing but she made things worse by placing the curse which most likely triggered him to do all those bad things. i said the whole thing as a theory because we don’t know if he would’ve done all those things without the curse but we do know that it happened when it did.

also she its not that she didn’t help him in time its the fact that she made matters worse by taking revenge on him while he was getting raped by putting that curse. she also continously defended her husband even AFTER his death ? you don’t have to like seth to know that she was in the wrong for putting a curse and then victimizing herself by saying they couldve been friends after the curse.

i compared you blaming your friends for your depression to show you how you're doing the exact same thing here with this character. do you now realize what a take this is? do you know realize how unfair it is to blame seth going mad and going on a murderous rampage on isis?
you are basically saying all this tragedy could have been avoided if isis went to seth and forced her help on him. but ultimately his actions were out of her control, in the same way your actions are out of my control. i could tell you to do many things, but at the end of the day ~you~ CHOOSE what to do.

the rape he suffered is not his fault. BUT his murders, him attempting to rape isis, his family falling apart bc of how he treated anubis and nephty is ALL on him.

i hope you criticize seth with the same fervor for all he has done, because all i'm seeing is one-sided bias. if seth can go out, murder egyptians and still be the king of egypt, i totally understand why isis still wants to take revenge.
also do note that she's actually holding off on the revenge she has wanted to carry out (check out the last chapter uploaded to see what i mean), and that's why she's all for the contest. why?
because the contest means minimal, if any, human bloodshed, AND she gets to bring seth before the ennead in court so justice can be reached via maat's scales, etc.

anyways, we actually don't know much about the curse and how it works because all the tragedy seth brought upon himself (NOT the rape, that's not and never was his fault) happened as consequences to his uncontrolled, blind violence/rage.
the only curse parameter regarding seth that we do know is that he'll never have anubis. and we actually haven't seen that take effect yet. we will later though because SPOILER anubis ends up in the underworld... because of osiris.
so in other words, so far, we have an angry isis that is holding off from unleashing her total fury for the sake of the humans and the ennead. yes, she did curse 4 people including herself, but the effects of that curse haven't manifested fully yet.

and girl, go back and read this manhwa because seth most definitely tried to rape isis. you have a few things messed up in your understading of the story's timeline.
