easy way to tell them apart is that the mc has one little bit of hair on the top of his head while the clone almost always has two in the newer chapters

np, its something I noticed recently, so I don't really know about its consistency

okay, I sifted through the chapters and the first time they actually give the clone a second hair thing is in ch 16.2 and it was pretty inconsistent as they would either put it on the wrong one or both of them. Then there was ch 17.3 (I think) when he made the third clone, it had 3 hair things on it, so it is definitely the hair that says who is who. It is forgotten sometimes, but in later chapters it does become better and more consistent.
