anime help!!!

I really liked Let's dance with papa, it's ridiculous and funny. Their episodes are short, 5 minutes each? But it is better if you watch it first, I don't know if it is that likeable...Oh!, and the parent and the boy have a crush on the teacher, but the girl has more chances than them :P
Pet Shop of Horrors is nice.
Sorry I don't recall more, no romance is difficult.

Oh, yeah, normally anime about sports does not involve romance.
I haven't finished watching Haikyuu! or Kuroko no Basuke, but I don't think they have romance...

It's kinda hard to think of an anime with no romance because it's always the main focus or used as subtext. Maybe try hunterxhunter 2011, Haikyuu!! (if she likes sports?) Attack on titan, Natsume Yuujinchou..

Movies from Studio Ghibli are really good.
Akira is a good movie, too (the main character chases a girl but it's not the main focus).
Ghost in the Shell.

If you want no romance but a lot of feels, then maybe Natsume Yuujinchou. The main character has no romantic involvement, though some single-episode characters might.

One Piece usually keeps romance to a minimum. As do sport anime like Haikyuu!, Kuroko no Basuket, or Prince of Tennis (sport anime have a lot of bromance though).

If your friend is fine with underlying hints of romance or using romance as a comedic point rather than outright lovey-dovey romance, then Assassination Classroom, Gintama, and Sket Dance.

There are also anime which has minimal romance used as a plot point but rarely shows up, such as Magi, Fullmetal Alchemist (original and Brotherhood), and Karneval.

Out of these, I would recommend Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, because it's that one perfect classic which seems to have hooked a lot of people onto anime.

About the boy chasing the girl in Akira, there is no space for romance, she is more worried about revolutionary issues.

Hunter x hunter, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Eyeshield 21, Prince of Tennis, Kuroko's Basketball, Nabari no ou, code grass, reborn, haikyuu, 07 ghost, kyou Kara moah, black butler, fairy tail, ace of diamonds, blue exorcist, dramatical murder, beelzebub, yowamushi pedal, search of the end. This may have a little that hints at romance but I don't think it's a romantic anime

Really adventurous and full of comedy and travels! I've watched that anime so many times! You never get bore of the characters! There are hard times, but there are bright times in the anime!

Hell yeah I like them all!! You should add one piece as it has no romance at all. Beelzebub is fucking funny hell hilarious. Honestly it bit turn off for me to read shounen with romantic relationship in it. Except their relationship is not too blunt or just one sided love with funny scene. But if it get serious, I m bit disappointed. Like naruto or rave. I don't know but I m fine with shaman king I think because it's funny and no romantic scene
