I remember the anime Genshiken when this guy accidentally broke his arms but refuse to go to the hospital because of the event (I don't know what they call it but it's like comicon in Japan) and he doesn't want to missed it hahaha.
I fell off a bench just minutes ago. Although i didnt break my back, while falling, i had this exaggerated imagination of me severly bandaged dying and lying in the hospital while my mom is crying. Then i'd be like... "i-i need the p-phone. I gotta r-read the...u-update...."
