No it's totally fine! lemme just summarize it really quick
(keep in mind im just skimming over these are like the spark notes)So it first starts off with Yuki in the academy with of course the day students and the night students. Yuki is also a student guardian at this time with zero. Zero is kinda cold to her but more open to than anyone else. He does not like Kaname. So basically Kaname is a night student, and night students, surprise surprise, are vampires. Kaname and the head of the academy, Yuki's father or adopted father? lol he basically took yuki in. Kaname and the headmaster made the night and day academy to make sure that normal students don't find out about the vampire. Yuki and Zeros job is to make sure it also stays that way. Im gonna talk about the really important part of the story now. Turns out zero is actually a vampire and yea. So ichijo is zeros twin brother he sacrifices himself so zero can drink his blood and have full strength to fight yukis uncle. Yukis uncle came back from the hibernation after being severely injured when fighting Kaname. But Yukis uncle is also kanames master since Rido awakened kaname. Also one more imporatant thing(this summary is very lack luster sorry lol) Yukis mom gave up her life in order to hide and lock away yukis pureblood vampire inside of her. Though she is awaked by kaname who gives her his blood to drink. Kaname has been planning for Yuki and Zero to finish off Rido(kanames master aka the uncle and kaname and yuki) since the very begging. He can't kill rido since rido is his master. So yuki turns into he normal self a pure blood and zero devours his brother in order to be strong enough to defeat rido. In the end they do and zero pushes yuki away because hes hates vampires. He then leaves the academy and so do all the other people because it is in shambels. Though the academy is brought back not long after, only with the minor change that the night students are not there. So after the fight kaname and Yuki go off and live together in there old home where they grew up in. Kaname now is killing off all the pureblood vampire( i don't really remember why I think it was so they could despise him once he throws his heart into the fire)They are actually brother and sister by blood. Kaname is a progenitor of vampires. He meets a hooded lady which from what little i can remember they became lovers. Though she sacrificed herself and gave her heart to a fire which now is what is used to make vampire weapons. Years later the fire is starting to burn out so Kaname needs to give up his heart. Yuki does not want him to give up his life. So she wants to do the same thing to Kaname as what his mother did for Yuki. Though she tries he knows what she trying to do. At the last moment, Kaname is throwing his heart into the furnace he is saved by one of his friends who has ice powers i forgot his name I think is was Hanabusa. He is enveloped in a sarcophagus of ice. which saves him but he is still in critical condition. Once he is better and they find a way to make him better without getting him out of the sarcophagus Yuki does it. What her mom did for her. She dies and her spirit becomes a butterfly. You'd have to read vampire knight memories in order to see what happens afterward because I'm giving the summary of vampire knight. Basically though Zero dies. In the end, when Kaname wakes a human he sees two people these are his kid. His child is Ai Kuran and the child Yuki and Zero had is also there Ren Kiryu. Though they both call Kaname their second dad. So yea if anyone else reads this let me know if i missed something or got something wrong. This is all from the top of my head.
