R stands for Raw, a stands for Raw, and r stands for Raw. It's not an acronym.
I don't know if it stands for anything. Maybe it just has the meaning of like,, Meat is raw before getting cooked. Maybe the same with Manga, Manhwa and Webtoon'w raw. They are raw before they get translated? I honestly don't know ╮(￣▽￣)╭

It called that way because raw = non processed content. Like isn't sushi just raw fish
At the moment, the term just means its the original manga/hwa/hua before it is translated.
If I am remembering right, many years ago when we had to use P2P file share services to download chapters of mangas, the images had the .raw extension (as opposed to jpg or png or something) and that was why they were called raws. ".raw" image format was common at that time for pirated mangas. I dont know if these still exist but I guess it just made sense in English to call the original mangas 'raw' so the term stuck around even though the format disappeared.
This is based on my experience/memories of early 2000s, so it may be wrong :)
Actually, now that I think about it, if you take a photo with a DSLR camera, you can *still* export the image in .raw format. Or you can also use a scanner to scan an image in the .raw format. So, it's probably how they pirated mangas in the olden times LOL
