Because he is hiding something from jooin is what makes him sus. Cain is faking his whole persona. You can tell he obviously knew jooin before meeting him. He acts like he struggles with korean but he can speak proper korean.
If this was the case, both seem as if they knew Jooin before, both hasn't said nothing.
