Who knows? The phrase on the last page said "Next issue, a new arc starts", so I actually have my hopes up that we get a real chapter and no extra, but still I think an extra is more likely.
The last page contradicts with what Sensei said on her Twitter, which was that the newest arc would begin next Spring. Usually, December releases are rom/com or AU extras, but it's possible she may do something like she did between the Naked Truth and Escape & Love arcs, which was to do a couple of extras that were related to NT (when Asami and Akihito spent time in Bali recovering from the wounds and trauma they had suffered during NT).

If it does end up being an extra then perhaps YA will address the situation Feilong has with both Mikhail and Yoh wanting Fei as their own. That would be a very interesting story if the three are in the same space together!

I would die of frustration if the coming Extra will be dedicated to Feilong and his affairs! Knowing how short are the new chapters, I vote for a 100% Aki and Asami extra story! Sensei will have plenty of time in the next Arc to address Feilong's troubles. For the love of god, I just want to see Akihito and Asami as much as possible. We barely saw them in the last chapter :,(((( Please YA, give us a beautiful holidays gift!
I guess that your hopes will be fulfilled. If it really is just an extra, it is very likely to be about AxA solely. I just hope that it will be something that adds into establishing their characters and not some meaningless fluff where you could just replace the bodies with any other bodies because in terms of development it would not make any difference.
I for one understand it when extras are used for fanservice, but when they are sacrified for nonsensical stupidities that are obviously out of canon just to serve some eye-candy i wish the efford would have been put into work establishing the characters instead.
There are extras which helped us to understand and appreaciate sites of AxA that we hadn't seen before but have been longing to witness. There are other extras however (like the superhero one or the bear/bee thing) that are just ridiculous porn and add nothing to the characters, and I think they are a waste of time and paper.
So I have hopes...
and a few of them still feel that after seeing AxA fuck senselessly for several chapters on that island, Mikhail and Fei Long might finally bring some meaning back to this story that Asami and Akihito have lost somewhere along their way.

Is there a chance we're getting a steamy Gold Extra in December? Since it won't be a continuation of the actual arc then Sensei better spices it up with a good extra. And hopefully it won't be a weird fantasy like that Cat one xD I would like to see them in their daily life routine with Aki being silly again (▰˘◡˘▰)
