Realistic stories???

I am looking for manhwa/hua/gas with a more realistic approach to LGBTQ+ issues. It seems many BL manhwas choose not to deal with issues such as coming out, self-acceptance, internalized homophobia etc. I think many characters come to terms with their same sex attraction all so suddenly and comfortably which is pretty much not in line with the realities of contemporary Korean/Chinese/Japanese societies. Any BL or GL works where the creator follows a more realistic approach?
I am not looking for something tragic, melodramatic or sensational, just something that feels natural. Doesn't matter whether it's a happy or sad story. Would prefer manhwa or manhua over manga unless you got a really really good manga.
Cheers <3

This is based on a real story and the only one I know http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/until_i_meet_my_husband/ but I’d say mostly there are more mangas that are realistic compared to manhwa/huas

I dont rly know any manhua/hwa but for mangas, a more light-hearted and realistic one would be Harukaze no Etranger (sequel of umibe no etranger), and maybe Smells Like Green Spirit (=・ω・=)

"dark heaven" takes a rather more realistic approach and portrays issues such as racism and homophobia.

Yes, it indeed seems to be the case! That's why I am on a hunt for more manhwa/huas :D

Agreed. I think the only Chinese manhua I read so far that fits the description somehow. Although I am gonna be really mad if the author is giving Li Huan a disease or smt (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

    For BL:
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/torokeru_tamago_to_bed_no_naka_de/ - established relationship where one partner wants to go one step further.
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/tonari_ni/ - pretty relatable that doesn't go dramatic route.

Adding my own here, for example "Hate Mate" feels really natural to me. It is not overly dramatic and perhaps some people find the ending a bit anticlimactic but in my opinion it is how it would happen in real life.

Oh, I do remember a manhwa that does seem pretty grounded (it even has an asexual side character).
