I agree about the platonic feelings I hope that’s all it will be..... but he said he wasn’t related to her mother by any blood so doesn’t that mean he’s not her uncle unless it’s from her father which I’m kinda thinking it is..
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure there will be no romance between them and he meant the 'attraction' thing in a platonic, familial way. I feel like a lot of you are forgetting that he is her paternal uncle. They are related by blood and I know that in certain time periods that sort of thing was accepted and expected but I don't this is that kind of story. Like he said she smelt like a 'new born baby that needed protection' and 'dew from a freshly rippened fruit.' He obviously thinks of her solely as a child so all of you 'pedo' commenters can stop cause there's no need as far as I know.
