Literally no one in this manga prefers janette over athy. I do feel bad for athy (because she got murdered in her previous life) but janette literally has done nothing wrong. Your hate for her is irrational

And she was never loved by her father her daddy go brrr with claudes ex fiance and made janete with black magic or somthing and shes not really loved by ejakel(dont know know to spell his name) Either, hes just responsible of taking care of her since she was young and ejiakel's(???) Dad is only using her to gain more power by coming closer to claude. Also mabye the reason she dont have friends is cause she was never allowed to leave that fat ass mansion and socialize making her have no social skills ???
First I can expect a mature girl cuz if you stay at home it doesn't mean you become childlike it just means that you have trouble socializing and you become weirder. Second she is kind of loved it by her stepdad and her cousin is kind of like a friend to her and I think she could go and make friends she just never like wanted to. My evidence is that stepdad would have bonuses if she would make friends with powerful families and that would just be a plus to him ╮(￣▽￣)╭ and she did use the situation because she needed to get close to Claude so she can become the loved daughter. And then she was like oh I hope we can all live peacefully.(〜￣△￣)〜 There was the scene where the stepdad said that she needs to get close to him and she just accepted like a part of the day. She is ether letting others use her or she just doesn't have a backbone... but that I hate the most. And then you all remember when the original story Janet never tried to get close to Athy and she stole all love from everybody so if it was just like a magic wand CaPuF bieCh and you have all love.... I don't think that's the deal here. She needed to be loved at least in some kind of level to earn that place where she was really adored by every.
I'm going to have a question to you - did you ever saw her try to make friends? No she just waited and hoped they would fly from the sky ...like Athy was the first one who approached her and then she was like oh well this is the the being I was waiting for... And if you are going to say that she wasn't allowed out of the house well think again cuz the stepdad(?) would be the winner here if Yenete would make connections to powerful houses through friendship then he would be the winner...so I don't think he wouldn't let her out of the house or she was just an amazing trouble but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
