I did mine with a piercing gun and had no problem. Just make sure to clean it regularly.
I went to a professional shop and they did it w guns.. had mine since I was 4 without any infections and got a third one when I was 15 also w a gun and nothing infected.

It just can't be sterilized. Idk if that's the word in eng but I hope u get it XD
I’m not saying you WILL have problems or get infections 100%, but piercing guns cannot be sterilised only disinfected (yes there is a difference) and because you will be piercied with the piece of jewellery it’s also a blunt end instead of being sharp and it creates more trauma on the skin. Lobe piercings are generally easy piercings because there is a lot of blood flowing through but any other piercings pls!!!! Use a needle!
If they use a gun it’s not a professional shop! You cannot sterilise guns only disinfect it! Which means they will use your same gun on all the people they pierce! Lobe piercings are very easy to heal but if you ever think about cartilage ones (like upper ear or nose) please use needles! It’s not even about infections, guns create more trauma on the skin and are not as sharp as needles so your whole will look kinda strange
So this might seem random but because of the last chapter I need to say it: never EVER get pierced with a piercing guns! They are clumsy and dirty! Always go to professional piercers that use needles!
