That trauma dokja saw is the memory of her mother ''killing'' dokja's father. And she wrote the story of the murder in an essay and sold it so dokja hates her mother and whenever he visits her in the prison, he always tell her the story of Ways Of Survival. In short, her mother knows the story but not in full detail. Also, this is not a complete spoiler because the killing part I said, there is more to it. And I don't want to spoil it completely lol
