Right!!! I want him to be accountable and still be healthier. Both can coexist. These kids really haven't been in abusive relationships with people using their state as an excuse for being abusive and it shows (which is great ofc, I don't want anyone to experience what I did).

I've seen these excuse about (TW!!) mass shooters, saying they are mentally ill that's why they murdered people, and it's not in the same level as this obviously but the spirit is the same. Ignoring is excusing, and people are heavily ignoring his past deeds and the fact that he neither regrets them nor has changed his ways.
People in the comment section being saying he's mentally ill as if that's supposed to excuse how he's been so abusive and abducting a person. If you all are hearing yourselves, you'll see that you're implying that mentally ill people are criminals.
He deserves help. Medical health attention. He deserves to get better and have a chance at life. No one, none of the people he hurt, has to put up with his abusive ass—that's how people fall into abusive relationships.
