Daughters because his grandfather is pressuring him to , FL doesn't want her sister to die so she doesn't want to them to marry and that left him with FL, when the grandfather stepped in that made it more difficult to reject his proposal not to mention they both don't even like each other but the ML is saying it'll happen eventually and not even considering her feelings and just want his way. The grandpa told his sweet story which made it even more difficult for the FL to even bring up the rejection. So all-in-all this is the grandpa fault for forcing a relationship where they don't like each other because he's trying to bring to life what he couldn't achieve with their grandma
