Look, I'm gonna respond to this for the last time. I'm not for attacking authors/artists at all, they can write about anything they want. BUT, when they write about a controversial topic/trope, they have to be ready for criticism, for people to have both positive and negative opinions.
Readers don't have the right to demand thing from an artist, as long as they read these things for free and they don't pay the artist directly to write a story for them strictly.
If they expect people to only have positive reactions for their artwork, then that's their fault. There will always be people that have different opinions about different topics. Artist should be able to take criticism. (of course I'm not talking about readers that attack the artist directly because the story didn't go in the direction they wanted).
I have the right to say my opinion on this, in a polite way, as you do. But you don't have the right to attack other people for having different opinions as yours. If I don't agree with someone's opinion, I'm trying to understand where they come from and why they think like that, and if I can't change their mind/they can't
change mine, then that's that, we stop there.
Like you said, people have the freedom to think/read/believe in what they want. As long as you're not taking my rights as a human being with your beliefs, then there's no need for us to interact, talking in a general way.
