I understand that you are ironic with this, but defending rape in fiction it's still a bad thing. Just because it's fiction (the excuse everyone uses to defend rape/manipulation/pedo/etc in manga) that doesn't mean you can throw your moral values out the window. No, of course people didn't start raping people just because they saw it in a webtoon, but it's still disturbing that rape became more and more normalized/mainstream in manga/webtoons, manga that are read by actual kids (11-14yo)

Do you realize how you sound to me? Making a law that compels people to violate their own right to freedom of speech is wrong. It has nothing to do with transgenderism. Let me put it another way, making laws that make it a criminal act to refuse to call someone a name they want to be called .... is a threat to freedom of speech and expression. I'm defending the rights of artists and writers. It's hard for me to understand how anyone could mis learning their rights in school or some other point in their lives.

I think you're the one that's not on track with what our "argument" was about from the start. Anyway, you're not defending rape in real life, but on this site you seem obsessed with making excuses for nonconsensual acts, because you're respondig to everyone that makes a comment about them being upset over the manipulation/assault in this story, AND others. most of your comments are only about that. You could easily ignore these comments and let people have their own opinion about something that's is beyond their principles as human beings, but you simply don't.
Authors can write whatever they want in their stories, rape included, but then they also should expect backlash and be ready for it.
For your second comment, you're not making any sense. No one asked for any law that would take people's freedom of speech. What you don't get it that respecting someone's identity is about human morals and values and not something that should be achieved by some law. That's where your comment becomes close to transphobic. You don't need a law just to respect someone's pronouns, is it really that hard to comprehend this?

Never in my life have I heard of a trans person asking for a "law" that would force people to respect their pronouns or else it's a criminal act. Again, it's just human decency.
