This story is pretty simple, typical shoujo, wholesome, fluffy and cute. I get that you might like more complete plots with drama but that's no reason to get so mad at the characters..(￣∇￣")
Maybe try Reimei no arcana or White Blood. I think you'll like those better. Or if you need something light hearted then Kaguya sama love is war.

I'm more mad about the toxic tropes, tbh.
It's like the 4th time i'm trying to read it and I hate it.
I'm not such a big fan of age gaps, but it's not really a big problem, I can usually easily get past it if the story and characters are good (like Jaeliu's "Beloved").
But this one is so cringey... that Matsunaga dude looks crazy tbh, yelling like a mad man and being pissed all the time. I mean, it's not even tsundere (which is a trope I usually love). He just looks completely deranged and emotionnaly immature. Now, all this combined with the age gap makes him look extremely predatory. Nothing about it is cute.
Let's not even talk about the FL. I know it's shoujo, but FFS!! could she be more shallow and annoying and submissive and stupid?!
I hate this story with all my heart.
(the art is cute though, too bad)
