*Sigh*

I really pity the first queen. You can't exactly fault her for having such a warped sense of the world when it was her family that shoved it into her, and the people she surrounded herself with only reinforced it. Her miscarriages certainly didn't help because it seems she's had many and that can seriously affect someone's mental state. I don't condone any of her thoughts or actions, just to make that clear. I just feel that it's a pity she didn't have any proper intervention as a child or a more broad minded family growing up.

Also...I'm really praying for both Lous' and Berta's lives every single chapter. The building anxiety I feel like someone's gonna try and assasinate them is unbearable. Them going to the South will prob be my fav part bc it'll be probably the safest time as well as helping opening up the king's eyes but when they get back to the North? It's free game for the northern nobles which worries the hell out of me.

I agree, and I thinks that’s why the author isn’t really making her to be the villainess but more of an obstacle in the story. As the MC gains more favor and power there will inevitably be some altercation with her and my future option of her will be based on her action then. I also pity her and realize she is acting in a manner sh believes is right from her POV.
