Hey man, the Bible was made by a bunch of dumbass humans and said it was made by a perfect deity just to get us to not question it. It also gets updated as times change so it fits the government so religious people will obey more laws. “Being sexually attracted to your own gender is a sin?!” such a complicated topic like sexuality wasn’t even thought about during the times of the Bible because people were worried about surviving the next day. But nobody pays attention to that and only fixates on the random quotes of John and Matthias. (Just ranting about how annoying hardcore Christians are)
We all have to remember that Jesus died for our sins and we can only hope that doing good deeds without expecting anything in return will balance out any bad that we’ve done and maybe even get us into heaven. However, 2020 is making it hard for those of us with weaker immune systems to do that.
I don’t have much faith left anymore.. my uncle is a youth pastor and I have to pretend that I think about god around him which makes me feel bad. Anyway.. what’s really fucked up is Westboro Baptist Church.. it’s legit the Karen of all churches.. they say that god hates soldiers, LGBTQ+, Judaism, America, among other things. I find it ironic that they say god hates America considering they’re an American church.. it’s hilarious that the founder’s own daughter fled the church with her family and became an activist not too long ago..
Oh my uncle is actually very sweet and Westboro Baptist Church is on the other side of the country. It’s just hard to fake being a Christian around him when I’m more of a spiritualist who works with tarot cards, pendulums, healing crystals, and incense. Basically the one of the enemies of Christianity aside from satanism
