Tbh, that sort of thing happens all the time in real life, you might date someone for years, to the point of knowing every little detail about them, only for that relationship to end in a break up because you both realized that things weren't really working out anymore and the spell wore off. It's hearbreaking, but it happens.

Everyone here mad the uke is "betraying" the president to hook up with the blode guy when the two aren't more than mere acquaintances lmao.
Like, bruh, he doesn't even like the president that way, at least not yet. What he likes is a fictional character that looks like the president and it's freaking him out that he keeps mixing up the two together in his mind.
He realizes that any sort of feelings he feels for the ML as a result of his obsession for Cain is no good and unhealthy, on top of the dude being his boss, because the two just aren't the same person and it's setting unresonable expectations for their relatioship. He likes Cain, not the president.
So he's doing the sensible and reasonable thing, considering he just can't keep his obsession under control, and putting distance between him and ML, while seeking a relationship with someone else who seem like a good guy and won't remind him of his freakin fictional crush.
We all know the president is endgame, but nothing says he can't date another person when he and the ML don't even have anything resembling a relationship.
Ya all need to stop expecting the ukes to be virgin paragons of purity who can't date more than one person in their life. (as long as they aren't cheating)
