it’s not a matter of evolution. humans simply do not have heats or ruts
animals such as felines (cats, for example) frequently go into heats or ruts in order to reproduce. it’s an actual thing bc of evolution, but it DOES NOT happen with humans. we have other mechanisms which revolve around hormones primarily but it’s different and not as uncontrollable
It is a matter of evolution. Those with a uterus have an ovulation period where we are more easily turned on or randomly horny. That is an evolved form of a heat cycle that other mammals go through.
Sorry to add another notification for you, but yeah, humans aren't necessarily "more evolved" than other animals, just differently evolved. Most animals that go through heat also absorb their unused uterine lining if they don't get pregnant, so in that case, it is often selected for, since it doesn't waste the same resources periods do. (Also, there are some animals who go through periods and not heats, like elephants and bats)
It isn't a matter of evolution if we never had heats to begin with though.
