Honestly, most yaoi mangas have bad storyelling. Mostly smuts but I still read them, well, for the smut lmao. There are gems here and there, but there are more meh, trahy tropey and absurdly hilarious yaois that they got buried underneath. Especially since most yaois nowadays have no plot and are just smut, but fujoshis (including me but it has to have good rating) will just read anything anyway so that's how the market works.

The story was to represent one that has sex in it but the storyline makes sense so it was easier to understand and follow along. But I feel you with the shounen Ai.
It takes soooo long for them to finally develop feelings so without a little bit of spice to keep me with it I get sorta sad just seeing hugs and hand holding. Its cute but I want more. Especially when they do finally date its like yall waited forever for this so now its time to do the deed but its skipped lmao. Also yea I can handle small rape, I just tend to look pass it. But the ones with hard-core is like...umm. I get it you want sex but isn't this a bit too much? Like one I read about the use running to the bathroom from the seme when he tried to force himself but still ended up failing and raped. That made me genuinely uncomfortable and baffled me that people still said the same of if you don't like then dont read. We all like sex in yaoi but too far rape is always too far is what i wanted to tell them smh. But yea manhwa's tend to have a well put together story line then Mangas do. Imo rape is different, most if not all of the rape mangas have a rape warning and sometimes the uploader even makes a rape warning even though the tag has rape

That's why if it does have rape I skip over the first half and pretend it never happened lol. Like they just naturally fell for each other unless it has too much rape that even at that point I can't look past it

also when I looked at that story they didn't give a rape warning. But they do have it in the tag I just never noticed it since usually the tags are all the way towards the bottom. So that was my bad.
But it would've been nice if they added it since Mangas with rape usually do but some lately does not. They also do even include the tag when need be.

okay. I read that some people said people are just complaining but they make valid points. Where did the friends come from? I was following with the story but all of a sudden they just appeared. Also Akira (sorry if that wasn't his name im bad with them) confessed his feelings to Hotaru right? So why did he STILL think they weren't dating?
Like it's just a back and forth at this point. I get it to build more drama but I'm just genuinely confused cause its like at this point he should know they are not JUST friends.
