I read the first chapter and already figured out how the rest of the story will prolly play out. Two best buds, both are popular guys in school. One secretly crushes on the other. The other actually likes him too but doesn't realise it yet until later on in the story as they try experimental dating to "see how it is between guys". Conflicts will be introduced in the form of misunderstandings, as always in this kind of setting, probably involving advances on one of the mcs by the opposite gender aka the very cursed and abhorrent creatures in bl called girls. And because this is a yaoi there'll at least be one chapter (usually right after the conflict) dedicated solely to smut before both characters declare their undying love for one another and live happily ever after. The literal definition of cliche. I'll pass.
