Well the way I interpret it is that, the author wants to give a somber tone to the story. With unrequited love taken in a different way compared to For Your Love. FYL was light and mushy in comparison here the color palette used for the art was is also little darker and duller. I guess they want to convey the seriousness and sadness in this story. With all the misunderstanding and angst. That is what I get. Maybe I am off. But I know compared to her previous work this is a lot darker and different and I love it either way.
Honestly really want to see some sort of redemption arc for our Yuri. Sigh, boy he is getting problematic I am glad this is fiction. But I understand the tone the author is trying to set here. I am so grateful for the translation team for updating regularly. I really want to see how the author is gonna incorporate some lightness into this (if they even do) but really I love I can see a Kwon Yuri happy in love. And mentally in a healthy place. Same for Jiri.
