the prince actually becomes one of her most trusted confidant, and when he founds out about fake veronica which is sooner than from the first timeline, he actually starts helping her.
he hated the real veronica and thats why the 'rude' bit comes in but he's genuinely a nice guy and is someone willing to give it all just for the one he loves.
also the knight becomes one of fake veronica's most trusted confidant and her swords, she eventually tells him she was not the real one and he vowed to fake veronica.
fortunately long story short, the prince acc isnt the typical omg im mean and rude but u changed so i like u now he had his own reasons and portrayed with good writing and flow and characterization by the author.
and the knight.. is not a definite(?) love interest... the red haired cousin of real veronica the one slaved by her family joins forces with fake veronica and helps her take her down and becomes the second male lead.
i caught second male lead syndrome. and my second male lead i mean the knight. Marry. Me.
