yeah so idk about the whole dating thing but the age of consent in Japan is thirteen and men can get married at 18 while women can get married at 16 although both need parent permission
Well that makes sense. maybe dating a minor is just too immoral for a police officer and having the parent’s somewhat lessens the guilt for going after a highschooler.

At first I was confused cause it was illegal to date a minor but it was okay for them to get married? Still, I wasn’t really bothered and I really liked their personalities. Even though kako was somewhat dumb(?) it was good that she doesn’t cry about everything.
