apologists? no. I have yet to see anyone excusing his actions but rather acknowledging it and at the same time hoping he becomes a better person and finds love and it is mutual.
I'm just saying until he gets help and changes his mindset he doesn't deserve to be handed a happy ending. If he goes through the effort of truly changing then yeah, sure good for him. But he still thinks what he did was justified. Lots of people are treating him like a helpless victim even though he inflicted so much harm on others. Yeah it sucks Dojun didn't love him back but responding by breaking someones leg and trying to rape someone is inexcusable.
Some comments are blaming Dojun for not loving him or saying the other guy shouldn't have left him. Or even saying he must have a tragic past and that's the reason why he's like this. Regardless, yeah hope he can get better and not just be forgiven with no growth.
I saw people criticizing Dojun and that's also fair considering he DID play with someone's feelings even if unintentionally. I understand your points too just thought I'd add my two cents.
So from what chowon said it's clear he hasn't changed at all. He doesn't deserve to die but he doesn't really deserve a good ending like the other couples. Just because he's mentally ill and was in a loveless marriage doesn't excuse the harm, threats and attempted rape he did. His actions are his fault alone. Tired of all these chowonpologists ╮(￣^￣)╭.
