Hold up. I thought Gu is also used to refer to those rare insects / bugs that some cultivators use for various purposes (like some can poison and others can be used to cure, and some are also used to control ppl or smthn, well it all depends on the author's creativity) or am I getting it wrong o-o
@translator from what I know Gu is normally a poison of some kind, depending on the author’s choice it’s either a slow acting poison that takes it’s time to kill or it stops characters from using the their powers, drives them insane etc etc
