Trust me. It gets a lot better. The characters annoyed me too at first. When you see how they change, you'll feel like all those hours spent reading were worth it. And if you liked Holyland then I think you've come to the right place. But there are differences between Holyland and the Breaker that might turn you off, so just thought I'd mention that. Anyways, if you're on chapter 11 you'll be reaching a turning point in the manga after a couple more chapters (sorry I'm not sure exactly which chapter this turning point is) but everything, and I mean everything, gets way more intense.
So it will get better, haha? I'll give it another shot then.
Just have to ignore the female characters, they irritate me the most. #－.－)

I really love the whole action, material arts genre and from the comments it seems to be a really good plot and all... but I don't know... every single one of those characters annoy the heck out of me. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
