AGREE! It was his defense mechanism. People who suffered trauma tend to stop the pain when he sense similar to those emotions. Be it from his lover,friends or family members. He also did realize later on that HE WAS WRONG. He is trying his best at his own pace because we know mentally ill people have more difficulty understanding things that those sane ones.

That dark chowon, that ghost is real guys, it is a REAL illness. I feel so bad for Chowon, he wants to get free from his past self but still can't do it. Broke my heart seeing him lying on the floor. I'll just leave another point here instead: it was understandable for Kyungsoo to walk away as his initial reaction. Cant blame him, please think of it. However, I do believe that he did think about the situation and he'll come back to Chowon.
Another, no. I dont think Chowon is still in love with Dojun. Doesnt matter what his sickness made him think but its important to look at who he called out to when he was losing consciousness. Sane part of Chowon wanted Kyungsoo. And thats what he genuinely feels.
