I mean for me as long as he doesn't go any further with trying to get at Nakyum and just accepts that Seungho doesn't like him that would be the start of some development on his part.

I feel bad for him to some extent but, the other characters have been through much worse. All he's been through is his crush not liking him.
Yeah he makes bad decisions? But he is not heartless, he felt guilty and couldn’t sleep for that. I’m not saying he isn’t a villain, he is just a pitiable one.
So...is it bad that I feel so bad, sad, and honestly wrecked for Jihwa? I mean, the story isn’t the most romantic out there, it involves rape, toxicity and such...but out of all the “real” characters in this plot, Jihwa is who I pity the most. I hope the author will make a sort of redemption arc for him
