Lowkey not a fan there always seems to be an excuse for shitty behavior in this manhwa. First Hyeseong, now Chowon. Rather than owning up to it it's probably going to be another half-hearted apology and the seme will come running, because he's just as stupidly in love as Dojin and hears he's taken pills.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's their fault for having shitty childhoods/psychological reasons, but considering they never seem to feel sorry except for themselves it's starts to really grate on my nerves. Oh well, let's see how it proceeds.

    Exactly my thoughts, and it's sad how they use mental health to /somehow/ excuse the wrong things they did.

    Omg yes!!! If you hate me so ugh istg I hate how the seme just got a slap for every abuse he did to the poor uke, and it's all because the uke fell for his abuser

    Hi! Try to read on Narcissistic Personality Disorders. It'll clear some of the issues regarding lack of empathy.

    hngh u did say its not their fault to grow up in an abusive home but put it against them when they're full of themselves. yes it is bad, but it is all they've known and their (visibly bad) coping mechanism; their autonomy is stripped away from them and only a sliver of their intimate selves are left. im not saying you should understand right away since it is difficult to look out from outside the situation, but reconsider what thoughts and feelings has urged them to do so :(( sorry if i sound overbearing, but as a mental health professional 2b, it leaves a bad feeling ;0;

    I had my fair share of narcissitc people in my life so I get where you're coming from - however, my main problem is that I'm 100% sure such problems will be put under the rug so we can get a sugary happy-end without much effort, just as the first couple did. If there would be an ACTUAL "talking it out" situation about such things I'd be less annoyed by the manhwa.

    No, my problem wasn't that I wanted to discredit their mental problems, but the fact they are only used as excuses not as something the characters actually work through. The first Uke still has problems showing love towards their child, Chowon is not even aware of how crazy it is and I highly doubt the artist will draw him going to a psychiatrist. THAT'S my problem, it will all be ignored once we have the love confessions. Working through these problems like an adult is never part of it, for some reason.

    That must have been so exhausting but I hope you'll never lose your open mind to mental illnesses I agree! They didn't resolve hyesung's issues which is why if you really look into some of the chapters, the consequences of his issues manifest. I hope that this will be resolve in the future side stories
