The breaking leg incident seems to truly have been an accident the second incident was horrifying though. He almost got Heesoo raped. I don't think his mental health issue is an excuse but it gives us readers understanding as to the depth of his character and how much Kyungsoo means in this character's development. Because out of all the characters so far, he was the only one to not jump into conclusions and was the only character to face issues head on instead of sweeping it under the rug per se.
The overdose panel also makes sense because Chowon is already not good mentally and bringing back something triggering,coupled with the first person in his life that cares,walking away from him just caused the spiral.
yes, thats why i said that his mental illness is not an excuse to his actions but its a reason. im just a bit bothered that some people mock him for being the way he is without even knowing he’s not mentally stable :// plus the fact that some refer to him as “crazy” or “psycho” is not sitting right w me :/ i hope he has a great character development though that would b great
Right, it's like they are missing the point here that the author is getting across. The mental illness is not an excuse but an issue to be resolved and what he needs to overcome for the character to develop. This development makes it interesting to follow their story (I feel if the author plays it right, Chowon's character would be the most complex out of all main characters).
And other readers must have forgotten how Dojin basically raped hyesung and hyesung abandoning his baby, the fuck.
AAAA it would be nice to see chowon’s character development, that would be nice. Also im still a bit bothered by hyesung the first time i read this because he acted up so bad its like inexcusable and childish ?? i mean i get that he was pressured into being a parent but abandoning your baby is :// eh. but atleast slowly he’s kinda of getting better now, wishing for more intimacy w dojin like him being sweet w dojin hehe. omfg i forgot that part ?? at what ch did dojin raped hyesung??
Its in the early chaps can't remember what chapter really and was essentially glossed over but yeah and which is why hyesung was hesitant with having the baby at the beginning.
Its in ch 10, its not the brutal r*pe but it wasn't as consensual as it was portrayed as which is why I think it was essentially glossed over and not caught by many of the readers.
I very much agree that what chowon did to heeso is not a good thing and i dont like using his mental illness as an excuse to what he did but y’all give him a break, he’s mentally ill u cant blame him too much for acting that way. His mental instability is never an excuse but its a reason. u can definitely see he wasnt in the right state of mind even on the first half in the manhwa, he wasnt just crazy over dojun, he was and is still is suffering from something that is traumatizing him. mentally unstable people are to be more cared about and they should be understood more. also pls pls stop referring to chowon as PSYCHO because he’s not one, calling him a psycho when the author did not even confirm his mental illness (correct me if im wrong) is like mocking other mentally ill people i just hope kyungsoo is not made as like a rehab center for chowon to be better, i just hope kyungsoo is there for chowon on his path on recovering. he also deserves to be loved and be appreciated :(( he matters too u know
