Well I have to agree. I'm proud they finally said "I love you" to each other, but I don't like the hospital/accident cliché at all.

Don't get me wrong. The scene at the hospital was lovely, panels gorgeous, them crying, hugging everything we've ever wanted
.... But but there is this little sting of dissatisfaction.
I hoped Haesoo will come to realisation on his own that he wants to be with Joowon without some external extreme factor interfering.
Yes Haesoo has slowly started to realise the whole depth of his feelings (although the he has known all along), he could look at their relationship and its issues from different perspective long before accident but I'd just prefer if Haesoo confessed, chose Joowon in calm state, not overwhelmed by fear and prospect of losing Joowon.
Like for me the whole drama was a little bit unnecessary. And didn't match the slow, poetic pace.
Ah I think the cliché was fine for me. Sometimes we need a certain strong factor to actually push us to the end. How we wait for the 11th hour, how we wait till the fire strikes our ass And I think the accident scenario was what Haesoo needed to let it all out..

like I am allllllllllllllll for JooHae but I just didn't like the delivery of it.
the whole accident thing feels so contrived to me and its more like Haesoo being scared of losing Joowon rather than actually choosing him with a clear mind.
I wanted Haesoo to be able to stand in front of both Taku and Joowon and say that he wanted Joowon, not for him to be stricken with panic and emotion to make him fully realize. I just feel like it would have been more meaningful to have him be faced with the choice and choose Joowon because he loves him, not cuz he is afraid of losing him.
