Yeah and it’s just annoying that they keep on yapping about it. I mean, what is ‘mind’ composed of and what are the requirements of having an ‘adult mind?’ Just with the basis of how long you have lived? Is it all that? What about the rationality and the capacity of sound judgment? Do they not take account that the trauma that they have experienced once they were magically thrown off a different dimension could affect all those factors? It’s not like they were given a nice environment to keep growing as a person. Not all people could stand and grow amidst an abuse and hardships, some people regress. And it’s normal. A brain is still an organ, it means it can have illnesses. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

Not only that but the way I see it is that they have generally the memories and knowledge of 19 year olds but they have literally been transferred into not fully developed child brains (probably more underdeveloped because of the abuse trauma). It’s not unreasonable for their mentality to regress to children. Knowledge and mentality are two very different things and do not equate to the other.
