I hate Suu

Love the art but honestly the storyline is veryyy confusing. There are too many unnecessary moments and things. The conversations are lengthy and not clear either. Also, Suu is actually the worst of them all. I know the Prince is bad, but at least he tried to save Nadan and promised a better future for them. The dragon himself said it hurt and injured him to call the rain. Yet, our beloved boy was like “‘meh I’m gonna trust the cruel bish that would murder anyone who’s in her way and harm ALL my 3 hotties”. Like wtf? Isn’t it alarming enough that she sent someone to kill him in the past just because she didn’t trust him? I usually don’t hate a character but I hate Suu so much. Reminds me of those useless main girls in the soft manga written back in the 2000s. If it weren’t because of the arts as well as the Prince and the Dragon, I would have dropped this. I seriously hope he’s not ended up with anyone, Nadan is still alive and they all find a better match. Suu needs to work on himself first. Except for the Noble Consort (whom he chose to serve by himself) betrayed him, no one else did - he’s one betraying them all and crying about how he has nobody.

I Legit cried out of anger because of how idiotic suu is, like he reminds me of girls in soft, echii manga and it pisses me off how every single one of them wants suu so bad and I’m here like REALLY BRUHHHHH REALLY!!
My favourite is prince Sahara and I feel bad for him because he loves suu so much and suu the little hoe didn’t give a shit about him and just wanna play around with everyone feelings and putting on a fake face in front of everyone.
    Like bruh just die already.

Oh my god I hope this won’t turn into an argument but I just wanted to say that I love Suu. I live him bc he is selfish but still cares for the little child he saw in the dead of the night. I love him bc he is self aware in a way that none of the others are. I don’t like the prince bc he is indecisive. He doesn’t want the throne but nor does he want to run away. As he said so himself the only reason he didn’t run away was bc after all the pain that he had been through running away so easily made all that pain seem useless and meaningless. I don’t like him bc in that moment he decided to return back to the pain instead of happiness. And well it’s not like he decided to let Nadan live bc he actually cared about him, he just did it bc he had something to hold over Suu. And the dragon only said using too much power tired him and that he had to sleep more, so i think your claim was wrong. The only reason he was hurt was bc of the poisoned blood of the prince and also that guy with the cane. He brought the rain for Suu and bc Suu was the only person that was actually kind to him. No one else had cared until that point even if they fed him and gave him clothes (the bare minimum). I love Suu bc just as the Nadan in his dream said he only wanted to be saved. I love him bc when he was asked what his wish was instead saying money (even though he loves it) or a house he said to heal the guy’s tongue. I love him bc he keeps losing his memories (which the prince does over and over again) and still continues to fight back. I think Suu went to the Lady bc he knew either way he would die and when he looked at his chances he chose the cruel Lady he served since childhood over the Prince that kept erasing his memories lol. I mean yeah sure it was a bad decision but he was desperate to find what’s best for him and in the end he saved the Prince’s life. He knew that the Lady would kill him then and there but he still did it (and bolted right away bc who wants to die am I right?). I love Suu bc he truly cared for Nadan and he raised all that money for them to run away together. I love Suu bc he is a fighter. Idk if we read the same thing or not lol but to me Suu was one of the greatest and most real characters of all time.

Okay that’s your opinion about it and this is my opinion about it too. I said that out of anger because I like the dragon sooooooo much and suu rejected him and I know that suu can be nice sometimes but he always gets into trouble and that also affects nadan and I hate the fact that suu doesn’t care about anything and how he said bad things to the dragon when he was angry, also I don’t like the fact that he’s always switching who he’s gonna follow and also how he’s acts all tough but when he gets into danger then he shits him self and fake cry to the prince and he’s only a ex slave/ Servant so he should act like it.
    That’s all I’m saying

Everyone has their own opinions of course but if you missed the part where Sahara said it himself that it might make him sick if he made rain...IDK gurl. Nadan even asked him not to associate with that bish any more yet he still does..like respect much? He even asked again and again “what did you do this time?” like he knew so damn well. I guess everyone in this story is using each other - but at least the Prince kept his promises unlike someone else sooooo...

Again, he’s a VERY basic “main girl” in all other older soft mangas. Very annoying indeed. I just hope he’ll fix himself real soon because very much likely he’ll become one with the Dragon and fall in love with the Prince.

He always gets into troubles because of his own actions. I have read wayyyyyyyyyyy too many BL/regular mangas to recognize this kind of character. Idk, I’m usually not this mad about other useless bottoms but Suu really really makes me angry.

But ya, I respect your opinions. This is solely mine and judging from the number of “thumbs up” I assumed I’m not the only one.

Totally agreed with this. Everyone is soo nice to him (except for the Noble Consort, of course). He betrayed literally EVERYONE and CHOSE to serve her. Obviously, he changed his mind the very last minute but what did it do except to make him realized he made the wrong decision. Oh well, I still support the webtoon tho because I still want to see other characters but like can we replace Suu with a new one? haha like from the plot, I feel like the Prince will revise Nadan somehow.

Um when was everyone else ever nice to him (except from the dragon)? The prince ordered him to be chained when he wanted to see Nadan, kept erasing his memories and I don’t think it counts as betrayal if there wasn’t anything to betray in the first place. The prince kept his identity a secret, ran background checks on him constantly, accused him of murdering people and the prince’s guard accused him of being a whore and later when the prince left him money after their first night he did feel like a whore and was upset. I think just bc they had a sexual attraction doesn’t mean they were friends so I don’t see him going to the Lady (whom he has served for nearly all his life) when he thought he was going to die either by the prince or the lady as a betrayal. I also don’t see why Suu needs to trust the prince wholeheartedly when he was alone all his life so of course he has trust issues.

Hi I don’t think he got into trouble bc of his actions since he started to serve the dragon and the prince. I mean before that he was doing bad jobs for money but after that he didn’t do anything? I read all of this in one day so maybe I’m forgetting some parts but could u explain what he did. The prince kept which promise btw? I mean yeah he did kept Suu chained ah and also broke his ankle so that he couldn’t run but I don’t remember any bug promise he kept for Suu. I remember him allowing suu to see Nadan but I considered that basic human decency so yeah. And I also don’t think him giving Suu money after their night together was what u meant by promise so yeah idk. The thing about Sahara to me was that he isn’t actually a child. He is an all powerful dragon that kills people if he wants to so yeah I think if he didn’t want to he wouldn’t bring rain. Once again the prince himself actually harmed him by giving him poison and that priest guy stabbing him in the chest and throwing him in to that lake so that he drowns so yeah

Oh c’on. The Prince said he would help the other servant (the one got his tongue cut off), and he did (Yes, he’s the one that cut it BUT the other servant was also at wrong to let Suu go against the royal orders. During those era, every servant would be punished for not doing their jobs). Suu knows damn well that he was ordered not to leave the Shrine while taking care of the Dragon and his identity had to be kept a secret. He could have waited for the Prince to ask for permission but he didn’t. When the Prince found out, he not only didn’t punished him but also saving him from the crazy guy. The Prince also promised to release Nadan and treated his injuries, and he did. Idk if you have seen enough of the historical manga/manhwa/movies, but trying to kill the Crown Prince is a pretty serious crime. Yes, Nadan had nothing to do with it but he has no proof; therefore, it is also hard for the Prince himself to save Nadan - there would be a lot of comments from other authorities and parties too. The DRAGON is still immature, everyone in this webtoon keeps mentioning he’s not fully grown so idk why you said that he was an adult like no? He has 2 bodies, and 2 souls. He’s not fully aware of his surroundings actually. He has the power to kill, and he knows that he would be tired to bring rain down 5 days straight. Yet he did it because he promised Suu that he would. He was being SUPER NICE to Suu in both of his forms. EVERYONE is equally bad in this webtoon (in terms of personality traits) BUT everything Nadan had to suffer was because of Suu. I don’t even hate the Noble Consort, it’s her job in this webtoon to be a REALLY bad character - she did well to survive too btw. Again, you can like Suu. I just don’t. Also, I suggest you should re-read the webtoon because it seems you missed some points (which I think are important).

Yeah I mean sure it was against the royal order to try to go out and we as readers understand why it was so important but Suu didn’t know that Saharah was the dragon at the time. He just thought he was imprisoned for no reason. I also don’t understand why you think the prince writing “felon” on the other servant’s tongue and then healing it bc it was Suu’s wish makes him a good person? Like if Suu didn’t wish for it when he could have asked for money or a house then the prince wouldn’t suddenly feel bad for what he did. Yes I’m aware that at those times that was the norm and this is a periodical drama but I don’t understand why Suu’s actions aren’t forgivable but the prince’s are...They both make decisions according to their past and life. And the only thing that happened to Nadan bc of Suu was bc of the Lady’s own diabolical nature. She killed Nadan bc she knew it would effect Suu but that’s not Suu’s fault so....Also yeah i understand that the dragon has two consciousness but in adult form he is still an adult. He promised Suu that he would bc he loves Suu, bc Suu was the only person that was nice to him in that cold environment. I really think all of this wouldn’t happen if Suu just asked the dragon to kill the consort but I can understand why he was hesitant and didn’t even think about it lol
