Not really. They have trust issues but it's really not their fault why they have it. He told them they'll go back to their previous home but didn't ask them if they want to go back to r previous home. He wasn't direct with them/straight to the point. It's adding to the miscommunication because it'll really looked like they didn't give a crap about the twins opinion and just believe someone else.

You are absolutely right.. They aren't using their knowledge from their past lives at all.. I mean if I were them, I would've ran away or atleast won't let them step on me.. A child's body has a lot of advantages to it that adults don't have.. They should've thought of what to do instead of wallowing in despair and allowing themselves to get abused.
