I agree. I don't think he's a bad guy and he obviously loves Masaki so I'm sure there's a reason. I think because we didn't really get much of Rion's POV that we were left in the dark. I wish the author would have elaborated on that part of his motivations and backstory more. One more chapter from Rion's POV would have perfected the story.
Im a sucker for unrequited love so i had to read this story. I enjoyed it but i didnt love it. Mainly bc of rion. I just thought it was shitty of him to be aware of masaki's feeling for so long and never making a move while masaki has been suffering for literal years. Then to top it off he kinda forced himself onto masaki. It made my opinion of his character go down. I just dont understand what held him back for being with masaki. I dont hate him bc i dont think he's malicious but i didnt particularly like him either. I just want masaki to be happy.
