I think it has something to do with the published first edition of the manga where a mini-chapter titled "Behind the Game" is shown, illustrating a short conversation between Kuze and Karino during the search for cards.
In my view, the two doesn't seem romantically involved, but something tells me they are up to something. I hope I could read Japanese so I would know what they were saying but all I could do is rely on the pictures and interpret it in some way - which the others have done and seen the small interaction as "two lovers looking for new playthings."
Maybe, they(karino and kuze) planned it from the very start. I mean they might be super villain and lovers too

Just a question , why did someone say karino end up with kuze they look like best friend than a couple ( boyfriend ) @.@(⊙…⊙ )
